Awaji Kannon or World Peace Giant Kannon is an 80 meters tall statue that is on story pedestal building that is 20 meters high. This statue portrays Kannon, the popular Buddhist goddess known in Chinese as Guanyin. This statue was built by a local businessman, Toyokichi Okunai in 1982. Nowadays, the statue is considered a safety hazard. So, no-one is allowed inside.

This Ushiku Daibutsu statue is the fourth tallest statue in the world.

The statue is Bronze-made and was completed in the year of 1993. This statue is a clear potray of Amitabh Buddha. There is lift  that takes visitors to an observation floor in the statue. The statue is a tribute to the birth of Shidran, the founder of Jodo Shinshu or the “True Pure Land School” of Buddhism.

The statue resembles a four-story museum. The iriri lobby also has a bright light shaft as the centerpiece, beyond which the lift leads visitors to the next floor. The second level is called “the world of gratitude and gratitude”. It placed more emphasis on Buddhist scriptures. The third floor is called the “World of Lotus Sanctuary” and contains 3000 golden Buddhist statues. The final level is actually the windows looking from the bust of the statue to the garden and animal park.

The statue shows the founder of Buddhism, Buddha Shakyamuni. This is important to know about this statue that it is made by the donations of local people. There are 31 floors inside the statue.

Currently, it is the second-largest statue in the world as of 2008 after the Statue of Unity in India with height if 597 feet. It is located in the Zhaocun township of Lushan County, Henan, China. the massive copper Buddha stands atop a 66 foot tall Lotus shaped pedestal with this it giving a total height of 502 feet. The statue portrays clearly the Vairocana Buddha. It was built between 1997 -2008.

This statue acquired its name from a nearby hot water spring named Tianrui hot spring which can be restored. The Stairs lead up to the 420-foot (128-meter) Spring Temple Buddha statue.

The Initiation of the construction of the Statue of Unity was laid by Shri Narendra Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujrat, on 31st October 2013. And the statue of Unity started for the public after 56 months on 31st October 2018. The Statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world and it developed in the respect of one of the greatest Indian Revolutionary leaders and freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhai Patel, and also known as the Iran Man of India. Because of his efforts, India was not divided into smaller independent countries.

This statue is 182 meters tall and was completed within a span of 34 months and was unveiled on  Patel’s birth anniversary in 2018. The statue is one of the favorite projects of Prime Minister Modi.
